Sushant Singh Rajput lost his battle against depression. The actor died by suicide last afternoon. He hung himself to death at his Bandra residence. Many Industry members like Karan Johar, Deepika Padukone have come forward to spread awareness on mental health. But hairstylist Sapna Bhavnani is giving a reality check to Industry’s hypocrisy.
The Kedarnath actor’s death sent shockwaves across the Industry. Rumours are rife that he was facing a financial crisis as well. He paid almost 4.50 lakhs rent every month for his Bandra residence. Now, Sapna has come forward to reveal that his friends knew about his condition. Furthermore, she called out the Industry for not standing up for him back then.
Sapna Bhavnani took to her Twitter and paid her respect to the late actor. “It’s no secret Sushant was going through very tough times for the last few years. No one in the industry stood up for him nor did they lend a helping hand. To tweet today is the biggest display of how shallow the industry really is. No one here is your friend. RIP,” she wrote.
