It’s been over a month since the sad demise of young Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The very news about his untimely death had the entire nation in a state of shock. It’s still hard to believe that the actor is no longer with us. The investigation regarding the same is in full process. As a part of the investigation, various Bollywood biggies including the likes of filmmakers Aditya Chopra and Mahesh Bhatt were recently interrogated.
It was only this Monday when Mahesh Bhatt was interrogated by Mumbai police. Following this, the veteran filmmaker’s statement on Sushant Singh Rajput’s death was recorded by the cops.
As per a report in Republic, Mahesh Bhatt’s interrogation went in around for three hours. Following which in a discussion Republic TV’s head honcho Arnab Goswami raised a series of questions including the ‘VIP Treatment’ which the filmmaker received during his interogation, and also on why DCP had the meeting with Mahesh when he was there for interrogation.

Also present with other panelists was Advocate Ishkaran Bhandari who raised the question on why Sushant Singh Rajput’s case was not considered as a high profile case since the start.
At first, Arnab Goswami questioned, “Why did the DCP have a meeting with Mahesh Bhatt when he was called for interrogation. Ishkaran, this is the kind of treatment that happens, when Mahesh Bhatt goes in, the DCP goes to escort him inside and have a cup of tea with him and has a meeting with him before he goes for questioning. Is he being coached or interrogated? Why does the DCP have to be personally there? Why was the location changed from Bandra Police Station to Santacruz Police Station?”
To which one of the panelists present there stated that the DCP was present there for an inquiry as it was a high profile case
To which Ishkaran Bhandari questioned his fellow panelist, “Yes it is a high profile case, when was the forensics called? Why was his flat not sealed? Why were his electronics not sealed? Why was it not a high profile case since day 1? Why didn’t it become a high profile case when the public started speaking. Is it a high profile case for examination and VIP treatment, but not a high profile for the victim?”
Ishkaran Bhandari also shared the video along with a tweet that read, ” Today we hear Mahesh Bhatt got special consideration as it’s High Profile case. Today public is raising voice so you call it “High Profile” case. #CBICrucialForSSR Ok, it’s high Profile case then did all this happen for Justice from day
