Star Wives Of Bollywood Receive Letter From Delhi Government! But Why?

After not getting any response of their letters from Bollywood celebrities, namely – Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn and others, Delhi government has now sent letters to Gauri Khan (wife of SRK), Kajol (wife of Ajay Devgn), Malaika Arora Khan (wife of Arbaaz Khan) and Suneeta Ahuja (wife of Govinda).

Delhi Government has urged them to stop their husbands from endorsing pan masala products.

Delhi government has sent letters to these celebs wife Kajol (wife of Ajay Devgn), Gauri Khan (wife of Shah Rukh Khan), Malaika Arora Khan (wife of Arbaaz Khan)

Additional Director of Health Department of Delhi Government Dr. S K Arora wrote a letter to Gauri Khan in which he said, “Humble appeal to you for encouraging Mr Shah Rukh Khan not to participate in advertisements of pan masala in larger public health interest. Earlier, a letter was written to Mr Khan for not to participate in such advertisements in public interest. Nonetheless I have not received any response till date nor he has plugged doing such advertisements.”

Delhi Government requested these celeb wives to join government’s anti-tobacco campaign, in which they can contribute to save the lives of many people who die due to cancer every year.

According to Dr. Arora, these celebs should not endorse these kind of products as they are the role models of nation’s youth and these kind of commercials attract the youth and children even more.
