Just like many other celebrities, Shah Rukh Khan has now hopped onto the endorsements bandwagon for online retail sites and has been roped in by fashion brand Yepme.Com.
This is SRK’s maiden endorsement for an online commercial venture. Interestingly, we hear the company has offered the star a special deal according to which he will be a stake holder with the Gurgaon-based company. Under such an arrangement, the company will not be paying huge sum to the star for the endorsement but SRK will benefit from it after the venture makes huge profits. Previously, such a deal was struck by Just Dial with Amitabh Bachchan who endorsed the search portal.
The company plans to spend Rs 15-20 crore over the next three months on its multi-media advertising campaign featuring SRK. Yepme competes with the likes of Jabong and Myntra who have their own celebrity associations.
While Ranveer Singh became the brand ambassador for Myntra, Jabong too recently roped in Alia Bhatt and introduced her fashion line on the portal too. This association for Yepme is certainly huge considering the mass appeal that Shah Rukh has.
