SRK’s Shoulder Surgery Successful

Shah Rukh Khan who had a crucial shoulder operation yesterday at Mumbai’s Lilawati Hospital is doing fine. A leading daily reported that the surgery went smooth and the doctors were satisfied with their work. Shah Rukh Khan is expected to be discharged in two days following which he must evade his rigorous schedule and take ample rest to recuperate completely.

The actor who had sustained this injury while shooting for Ra.One ignored it for a long time. With his upcoming film, Chennai Express, the condition merely aggravated as he had to perform many stunts for which he refused to take help of body doubles.

Yesterday, the actor was constantly aided by his family – wife Gauri, daughter Suhana and son Aryan who flew down from London especially to be with father before surgery. SRK does take credit for being valiant enough to drag on without adequate treatment. The surgery which finally occurred yesterday was supposed to happen earlier this month in London. However, busy with IPL and shooting SRK couldn’t spare time for him. Now that he is on his way to recovery, may he heal soon.
