Akshay Kumar recently tasted huge success at the box office with his latest release Airlift. The actor has now started shooting for his next titled ‘Rustom‘ in Mumbai.

Interestingly, for the film, the actor is seen sporting a moustache which looks similar to his Special 26 avatar. On the sets of the film, he was snapped sporting formals.

Rustom is supposed to be a thrilling murder mystery with a romantic twist. The plot is based in the late 1950s, and the movie is inspired from real life incidents. It has been written by Neeraj Pandey and Vipul Rawal.

The film is being helmed by debutante director Tinu Suresh Desai and is slated to release in the Independence day week this year.
