One of the perks of being a celebrity is that you are in the news all the time, and one of the disadvantages is also that you are in the news all the time. There are always gossips written about you, link-up rumours, break-up rumors and what now. Recently, Sidharth Malhotra took to Twitter to slam a portal for ‘making up’ news which has zero truth for the sake of traction, in the difficult times of coronavirus lockdown.
A portal apparently wrote an article about how in the times of lockdown, Sidharth Malhotra is spending time with his friend Richa Dhar. According to the report in Spotboye, Sidharth and Richa go back a long way. The duo had left Delhi together to pursue their dreams. They came to Mumbai and even rented a place together. The report states that the two are currently staying together at Sidharth Malhotra’s Bandra abode.

Not just that, but the report also alleges that the actor is currently dating the Kabir Singh actress Kiara Advani and that the two haven’t been able to catch up since the lockdown came into force and have been in touch via only phone. The report further claims that the couple is madly in love and earlier this year, we had told you that they even involved their families at a dinner organized at Kiara’s house.

Well, clearly the report hasn’t gone down too well with Sidharth Malhotra who took to Twitter to slam the portal. In his tweet, Sidharth wrote: ‘While the country is finding new ways to handle corona virus, @Spotboye has found a way to “make up” news with zero truth. I really wonder how in these times people r more concerned about such absurd ways of finding traction instead of utilising their space for something better.’

Well, it’s not the first time that Sidharth and Kiara have been linked to each other, there are several rumours about the two doing rounds in the media. However, the two have never accepted it.
