Shahid Kapoor is on a cloud nine since his last release Kabir Singh, unexpectedly turned out to be a monstrous hit at the box office. Post its success, the actor has entered in an altogether different league. Recently, it was learnt that he was approached to reprise Vijay Deverakonda’s character from Dear Comrade in its Hindi remake. But now the latest news hitting the lines, is about his upcoming Dingko Singh.
In Dingko Singh, Shahid Kapoor is playing the role of Manipuri boxer Ngangom Dingko Singh. He is also backing the project as a producer. Now the report in Bollywood Hungama states that the movie which was expected to kick start towards the end of the year, is put on a hold.
Raja Krishna Menon, who will helm the project, said that Shahid Kapoor is out of the country and is taking his time to think about his upcoming projects. Reportedly, the final draft of the biopic is still not ready and the filmmaker and actor will discuss it properly very soon.
