Shah Rukh Khan’s residence in Bandra is probably one of the most famous and visited spots in the city. This time the actor’s bungalow has come into controversy due to an elevated ramp that has been built outside ‘Mannat’ that according to the residents is blocking the pedestrian street.
According to a popular daily, residents under the banner of Watchdog Foundation have taken up this issue and written to BMC about it. The ramp that has been made outside Mannat is used to park the star’s vanity van. Residents who are a part of the foundation have stated this as a cause of concern because according to them, it blocks access to the stairs that lead to Mount Mary Church from Bandstand and also blocks the adjacent road. While the issue had been reported to BMC in last September, however due to no responses, the residents have now raised the issue again and this time have issued a letter to the municipal commissioner and even the chief minister. BMC has now taken the letter seriously and will soon send engineers to inspect the site and take necessary action on it.
