The tag of a Bollywood super star carries a lot of privileges. Maybe, smoking in a prohibited area was just one of them. However, with the media’s roving eye, no star is safe if s/he is doing something illegal/immoral. So while Saif Ali Khan had to go to town with his midnight brawl story, Shah Rukh Khan is in the eye of a legal storm involving him smoking a cigarette during a recent IPL match at Jaipur.
The court case, on a complaint by a local lawyer, will come up for hearing on 12 April.
Looks like DreamWorks – Reliance Entertainment’s Oscars bounty has promoted the Indian production house to invest further in its Hollywood studio partnership. Reports suggest that Reliance Entertainment will be investing USD 200 million into Steven Spielberg’s DreamWorks Studios. The partnership has jointly produced the well-acclaimed films, The Help and Hugo, last year.
A recent agency report says that the Central Board of Film Certification (or what is generally known as the censor board) will soon be explaining why a particular film was given a particular rating.

Also, if you have noticed, the CBFC has started issuing new-looking certificates to films. It has also started passing films like Delhi Belly which had some outrageous content which might not have got passed earlier. Hopefully, the CBFC will allow more and more films to release un-cut while giving them the ‘A’ tag.

U – Unrestricted Public Exhibition

UA – Unrestricted Public Exhibition – but with a word of caution that Parental discretion required for children below 12 years
A – Restricted to adults
S – Restricted to any special class of persons
