A case was filed against Salman Khan for allegedly using the word bhangi on a public platform that hurt the sentiments of the Scheduled Caste community.

During a reality show, while promoting his film, Mr. Khan had used the word ‘bhangi’ to refer to his own dancing style. This did not go down well with the Valmiki community, and an FIR was lodged with Churu police.

Now, according to a recent update in India Today, that the High court has put a stay on the FIR which means the court has issued a notice to the person who filed a comment.
