Salman Khan is one of the superstars who has the greatest and the funniest anecdotes to share. Moreover, he uses his wit and humor to charm the audience with tales about the darkest days of his life. It was during those days that he was considered one of the most eligible bachelors in the industry, and there was only one question that was asked repeatedly: Bhai Shaddi Kab Karenge? Interestingly, his father, Salim Khan, in one of his interviews, confessed that Bhai used to discuss the probability of getting married but only while he was drunk. And he used to forget that discussion once he was sober.
During one of his appearances on Rajat Sharma’s Aap Ki Adalat, a fan quoted Salim Khan‘s statement and asked Salman Khan, “In an interview, your father confessed that when Salman Khan is drunk, he says, I want to get married. What would you say about this?”
The crowd erupted in laughter, but Bhai decided to take the question. Opening up on his equation with his Sholay-writer father, the actor said, “Hamara father and son ka emotion it only comes out then (while we are drunk). In the day we are like Salaam, salaam and kaise ho beta, theek hain. And at night, after one drink, we hug tight (gestures). Ek father-son ka bonding hota hai.”
Salman Khan further discussed the said conversation his father was quoting in interviews and narrated, “One day, I told him. He says, kya plan hai. I told him him. Let’s see no, I might consider. Ek do saal mein saare cases ke verdicts aa jaayenge. If I walk free, then to well and good but agar mujhe daal diya jail ke andar to main to andar chala jaaunga. Mere biwi bachchon ka kya hoga baahar rehke? Tumlog Sambhaaloge unko? Bachche ko to theek hai. Lekin biwi ko main kisi ko sambhaalne ko nahi dunga.”
As soon as the Tiger actor revealed the entire conversation, people realized that he was just joking about getting married. In another interview, the actor wholeheartedly admitted that he has made a lot of mistakes in relationships since one can only be mistaken once or twice. But if the same things happen to him repeatedly, then it certainly means that he is not good enough in those relationships.
The actor has been in a relationship with actress Sangeeta Bijalani, model Somy Ali, and Aishwarya Rai. After an ugly breakup with the Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam actress, the actor was reported to be dating Katrina Kaif and later a model, Iulia Vantur.
