Today, the trailer of Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior was unveiled. The trailer launch was held in Mumbai which saw the presence of Ajay Devgn, Saif Ali Khan, Sharad Kelkar along with the film’s director Om Raut.

In the film, Ajay essays the role of Maratha Warrior Tanhaji Malusare. Saif Ali Khan is playing an antagonist as he portrays Udaybhan Singh Rathod.

At the trailer launch today, Saif Ali Khan was asked how was the overall experience of shooting the film. The actor shared, “I really enjoyed working on this film. We have taken a lot of efforts and shot at live locations. I used to drive early in the morning with no traffic travel straight to film city where there were 2 big Ajay Devgn Films sets.”

The Chef actor joked that he took 20-25 retakes for the film. He revealed, “It was a very comfortable shoot. The director focused a lot of us. He gave us a chance to give 1, 2 or even 15 takes.” Director Om Raut interrupted that sometimes it went to 27 or 28 retakes.

Saif jokes sometimes they gave 20-25 takes too. The Chef actor said, “It’s a big thing that I got this opportunity. We improved every time. It’s not that first or second take weren’t good enough, but we wanted perfection.”
