Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan has been discharged from Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital 6 days after being severely injured following a robbery attempt at his Bandra residence. The actor was stabbed by the intruder who entered his home and suffered grave injuries in his arms, spine area, and the back. He was rushed to the hospital, where he underwent two surgeries. He was soon out of danger after the same, but the doctors monitored his condition while his family members were spotted visiting him frequently.

According to NDTV, Saif Ali Khan’s discharge formalities are underway and he is expected to leave the hospital in some time. His mother and legendary actress Sharmila Tagore is at his side. His wife Kareena Kapoor Khan was also staying by his side all this while but headed home for some time. The report furthermore stated that the Devara actor has been advised complete bed rest for at least a week and has also been asked not to receive any visitors to avoid the risk of any infection.
The report furthermore stated that the security outside Saif Ali Khan’s Bandra residence has been tightened. This is because a large group of people have been gathered outside his residence to catch a glimpse of any development. Meanwhile, the intruder who attacked the Adipurush actor has been nabbed by the Mumbai Police and has been identified to be from Bangladesh.
The intruder, who goes by the name of Mohammad Shariful Islam Shehzad was reportedly trying to target Shah Rukh Khan’s bungalow Mannat before this. However, he left the plan since the security was too tight. Talking about Saif Ali Khan, the report mentioned that the actor’s spinal cord missed one of the stab attacks by 2mm. He underwent a surgery after the leakage in his spinal fluid. He furthermore underwent plastic surgeries on his arm and neck. His wife Kareena Kapoor Khan has slammed the paparazzi amid this and requested them to give the family some privacy.
