Sadak 2 trailer featuring Sanjay Dutt, Alia Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapur was released today. It has been brutally received on the social media amid the whole Sushant Singh Rajput death row.
Users all over the social media have been asking filmmakers to boycott the star-kids after SSR’s death stirred the whole nepotism debate. Mahesh Bhatt’s comeback directorial Sadak 2 has now been sandwiched in this controversy.
On YouTube, the trailer of Sadak 2 has been disliked for 3.8 million times which is a sky-high number. It’s not even been 24 hours since the release of the trailer and the dislikes are increasing rapidly with every passing hour. Till now, the trailer just has 219K likes in comparison of the dislikes’ mountain. The likes-dislikes ratio is still high at approximately 95%.

Second most disliked video as per likes-dislikes ratio is PewDiePie’s “Can this video get 1 million dislikes?” It stands at 93% with 4.88 million dislikes.
Sadak 2 which marks Bhatt’s return to direction after around two decades, has been in the eye of the storm ever since the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Sushant’s demise brought the issue of Bollywood nepotism to the fore, and the film which stars Bhatt’s daughters Alia and Pooja Bhatt along with Sanjay Dutt and Aditya Roy Kapur has been heavily trolled ever since the first look was launched.
On Monday, the hashtag #UninstallHotstar trended on Twitter while many netizens urged people to boycott the Bhatt family’s project. “Nepometer projected 98% person of cast and crew (producers, directors) members of movie #Sadak by Mahesh Bhatt are the products of Nepotism. Nepometer is an initiative by SSR’s Brother in law. #BoycottSadak2 #UninstallHotstar,” tweeted a user.
“They are not getting any platform to launch any movie or shows. So, they choose hotstar to launch it. We are also ready to teach them a lesson. In their own eyes they are superstar now times has been changed. #UninstallHotstar,” wrote another user.
