Akshay Kumar will wrap up the shooting of the Tinu Suresh Desai directorial Rustom on Friday. He says he “had a ball” shooting this one. Akshay, who will star alongside Ileana D’Cruz in the film, will return to his action avatar as a naval officer.
Akshay tweeted today about the wrapping up of the film’s shooting and his experience about it.

Rustom is based in late 1950s and it is a murder mystery flick.
This isn’t the first time that Akshay is playing a defence officer in a film. He had essayed the role of an Army officer in Holiday: A Soldier is Never Off Duty. He was also seen in films like Airlift and Gabbar Is Back which experimented with the theme of patriotism.
Rustom is set to release on August 12.
