Kareena Kapoor Khan is known to work only in A-list films with already established actors. The actress seems to have absorbed herself in a comfort zone of sorts. It became even more evident when the actress let go Zoya Akhtar’s Dil Dhadakne Do. During a recent interview with Koimoi when we asked Kareena whether her choice of films reflect a lackadaisical attitude, the actress promptly replied, “I don’t want to do something just for the sake of it. If I do something different, the script has to be that great. Otherwise there’s no point. I am happy working in these mega box-office movies because if there’s no great script to like, I would rather do this.”
Doing things differently has become the new in-thing and in the most misconstrued way possible. However, Bebo seemed very much in sync with her caliber and reality in equal measures. Continuing the same, she added jovially, “I don’t think I can romance Varun Dhawan. That will be pushing it too far. I am an actor who is very much in check with reality. I love Varun but I definitely don’t want to romance him on-screen. I will rather have a dinner with him. I am very happy with Salman, Ajay, Aamir and Shah Rukh.”

It was commendable to see Kareena making a statement like that. While most actors and Superstars romance women nearly half their age, the same doesn’t stand true for female actors who are easily replaced by the younger lot. Probably the reason why Kareena has still maintained her stardom over the years is her ability to effortlessly adapt to change over time. The actress will be seen romancing Ajay Devgn in Rohit Shetty’s Singham 2 that will hit the theaters on 15th August.
