Just about two days ago, the chirpy and full on energy Ranveer Singh was seen to emote and do all the dhishoom dhishoom on the Gunday sets in Durgapur, West Bengal. And yes, obviously add to it his chiseled body that caused quite stir with his latest release Ram ji Ki Chaal Dekho from Ramleela! Just when good news was about to sink in, Ranveer Singh, the self proclaimed masochist that he is, decided to over stress only to find himself more trouble.
The Band Baaja Baraat star who had been continuously shooting and promoting his back to back releases right from the first quarter of this year, contracted an infection and suffered from bouts of heavy fever during the Gunday shoot but he still decided to carry on with his professional commitments. Although this might mark him a thorough professional, the excessive pressure and stress invigorated the matter to even worse conditions. Just then, when he returned to Mumbai, he was diagnosed with severe dengue and is reportedly admitted at a Suburban Mumbai hospital. Doctors were surprised and bewildered at the way Ranveer opted to carry on working in spite of the severe illness and discomfort that dengue brings with it.

Although it is not known when Ranveer would be totally fine and given a nod to be back in action, he is cheerful and positive as ever. Ranveer has been through a host of other injuries, mostly during the Lootera shoot in Dalhousie and the Gunday schedule back in Kolkata during April.
