Ranbir, who has landed himself with blockbusters and hits in a short career span, has proved his stardom at the Box Office. The actor is becoming a supreme name in the Ad-world, undoubtedly. He, who is highly banked upon for his image with the audiences, is walking away with enormous deals one after the other. With an already-oozing-with-crores bank balance, Ranbir has added some 25 crores more by bagging a popular Wafer brand’s endorsement deal.
Reports have it that Barfi! star, was not the first choice by the brand. There were other actors who were approached and things were almost final with one, but the deal didn’t work ultimately. Hence tables turned and the deal landed in Ranbir’s favor and the brand gave in to young Kapoor’s demands of a hefty sum.
The commercial will be shot soon and will involve four days of shooting. Ranbir will be required to make appearances when and where the Brand asks him to. Interestingly the Brand already has Chote Nawab Saif Ali Khan as its Brand Ambassador. But sources clarified that Saif is not being replaced by Ranbir, but they are to have two celebrities endorsing the brand, like they always had.
