The news that Rishi Kapoor and Randhir Kapoor are planning to make a biopic based on the life of legendary actor Raj Kapoor was doing the rounds for quite some time now. Well, the latest buzz is that Ranbir Kapoor might play the role of his grandfather on silver screen.
According to a report on Deccan Chronicle, the biopic will be one of the most prestigious dream project for the Kapoor khandaan. Apparently, they could not figure out anyone for the role and hence when Ranbir turned into an actor they could see their project finally gaining a shape.
Ranbir has always been fond of Raj Kapoor and has seen all his work and so the Kapoor brothers feel that Ranbir is the best person to play the role of Raj Kapoor.
The movie will be produced under the RK Films banner.
