Just when one thought that Ram Gopal Varma and Karan Johar had stopped taking digs at each other and finally went their own way, the latest development has caught everyone by surprise. Ram Gopal Varma, who had announced long back that he would be making the sequel to ‘Bhoot‘, has suddenly paced up his plans. He has now decided to release his horror fest just a week before Karan Johar’s ‘Student of the Year‘.
“Yes, that’s true”, informs our souce, “Ramu is indeed bringing ‘Bhoot 2‘ on 12th October. He would also be beginning the promotion of the film soon.”
This recent development has caught many unaware since last one heard, Ramu was busy shooting for his terrorist tale ‘26/11‘. Meanwhile there were also talks of him beginning work on the sequel of ‘Shiva‘ with John Abraham. Moreover, even though Ramu has expressed desire to make ‘Bhoot 2‘, everyone forgot about it since no news ever came out of it in last so many months.
“Well, that’s Ramu for you; utterly unpredictable. That’s the reason why he is called a maverick”, quips a close associate, “He is most definitely coming up with ‘Bhoot 2‘ which has Manisha Koirala as the central protagonist.”
While the promotion of ‘Bhoot 2‘ is yet to begin, Karan Johar is already going full throttle for ‘Student of the Year‘ which releases on 19th October. Guess he must be training his troika of students (Siddharth, Alia, Varun) not to pay heed to the ‘bhoot‘ on the prowl.
