Rakul Preet Singh Who Shared Screen With Ajay Devgn & Nagarjuna Has A Subtle Reply On Age Difference Hoopla

Actress Rakul Preet Singh who was last seen on the big screen opposite Ajay Devgn in Bollywood film ‘De De Pyaar De‘, is all busy these days promoting her upcoming Telugu venture, ‘Manmadhudu 2‘. The film has Rakul opposite south star Nagarjuna.

Over the past few years, be it in Bollywood or down South, there have been several films where young actresses have been paired opposite senior actors, and one just can’t deny that most of the films have gone on to become good successes.

The ‘Sarrainodu‘ actress was asked about the same in an interview with Indian Express, the actress in her reply said, “When I was offered films, opposite senior heroes, I will see that my character had a space that was significant in the film and doesn’t think about the age difference and other aspects.”

She further added, “Instead of playing a character that has been reduced to a caricature in a young actor’s film, why not take up a substantial role alongside a senior hero?”

Apart from ‘Manmadhudhu 2‘, Rakul also has two other big projects in her kitty in form of Shankar’s Tamil film ‘Indian 2‘ opposite veteran actor Kamal Hassan, and a Bollywood project titled ‘Marjaavan‘ opposite her ‘Aiyaary‘ co-star Sidharth Malhotra in lead. The film is being helmed by Milap Zaveri.
