Udaan actor Rajat Barmecha recently found himself in uninvited trouble. The actor became a target of trolls after his picture was flashed on a TV news channel broadcasting late Sushant Singh Rajput related news. In a report which was about an accountant named Rajat, they used the picture of Rajat Barmecha. The person in the question is Late Sushant Singh Rajput’s former accountant. In no time, he started receiving hate on social media and paid a huge price for someone else’s goof up.
When we asked Rajat Barmecha more about the incident and how he is tackling it, he said, “In the ongoing Sushant Singh Rajput case they met/found/tracked down some account of Sushant. His name was also Rajat and instead of checking and being responsible about the entire story Times Now flashed my picture everywhere instead of the accountant’s picture.”

“I was shooting and when I checked my phone during the break I had many messages and calls from my father who got to know about it from some relatives. I quickly checked my Instagram and had so many messages from fans telling me about the entire ‘goof-up’. They also sent me the screenshots.” he added.

Further talking about his reaction to the goof-up, he said, “I was shocked. I haven’t experienced anything like this before. I was upset and pissed at the same time as this was a big ‘goof-up’ as it’s right in the middle of an ongoing legal case. “
“I quickly informed my team and they got in touch with the right people and got the video removed from YouTube. Times Now also posted an apology saying sorry,” he added.

Rajat Barmecha also said that he is okay with the apology and doesn’t want to take this ahead. “I appreciate the apology and don’t wish to take any further action but this is not something small. I am glad my team was prompt and got things fixed quickly but these kinds of incidents can really hamper someone’s life. I am still shocked how can this be a mistake when you are such a big news channel.” he concluded.
When asked about what he thinks about Sushant Singh Rajput’s death mystery, he said, “I was quite aware about what’s going on till a long time. I also shared whatever views I had on my Instagram account. But after a point, I started shooting and at present, I am shooting every single day. So I have missed out on a lot of information at present. And it’ll be totally irresponsible of me to comment right now with half knowledge.
All I hope and pray that the real truth comes out so that everyone who loved Sushant and everyone who still loves him can get closure.”
