Join UsIn their respective ensemble affairs, Divyendu Sharma and Pradhuman Singh scored in a major way. Now after setting the screen on fire on Pyaar Ka Punchnama and Tere Bin Laden, the youngsters have paired up for Zaalim Dilli, the shooting of which is almost complete.
“The film is a comic thriller which is based on the car-theft-and-resale business in the black market. Of course the setting is in Delhi”, informs our source.
Incidentally, Divyendu and Pradhuman would be seen in an entirely different characterisation when compared to their debut effort. “For starters, unlike a foul mouthed corporate youngster in Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Divyendu would be seen as a very serious and righteous guy”, informs a close associate.
Written by Manu Rishi Chadha, the man associated with other Delhi based flicks like Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye, Aisha and Yeh Saali Zindagi to name a few, Zaalim Dilli also marks the debut of two ladies – Miss India Earth 2012 Prachi Mishra and Japinder Baweja.
“While Prachi is the leading lady in the film, Japinder making her debut as a director”, the source adds, “The film also stars Ira Dubey, who was seen in Aisha and Turning 30!!!.” The only veteran in the cast is Jackie Shroff who, as per those attached to the film, would be seen in a very different look and avtar.
Meanwhile we look forward to how Liquid and Noora mix up together for this heady cocktail of an affair called Zaalim Dilli, an indie film, which would arrive in the second half of the year.
