Meghna Gulzar’s film Daayra is all set to release in theaters in less than 24 hours. Preview shows of the film were held in Delhi and Mumbai, and the response has been glowing. This is the first time Prithviraj Sukumaran and Kareena Kapoor Khan have shared the screen, and their pairing is being lauded by audiences.

The three faces promoting the film are Kareena Kapoor Khan, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Meghna Gulzar. The three artists have passionately spoken about the movie and what brought them together for the project. They have instilled faith in the film’s story and Meghna’s vision. The director has previously shone with films on sensitive, real-life topics, including Raazi, Talvar and Sam Bahadur. She also brings out the best in actors, having given Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal some of their most memorable roles that also drive their creative side.
Prithviraj Sukumaran is one of the finest actors in the country and also a talented filmmaker. The actor will be seen playing a cop who believes in delivering justice in his own way. Kareena, on the other hand, plays a level-headed cop who believes in following due process. From the trailer itself, the two made for an interesting casting choice. Early reviews also point to great performances by the supporting cast, especially Kshitee Jog, particularly in her heart-wrenching emotional moments.
