The latest buzz from the B-town is that Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra has been signed by Disney to lend her voice to Klay Hall’s action-packed 3D animated film Planes.
Priyanka will lend her voice to a character called Ishani and has been paired with Dane Cook, who is the voice of Dusty Crophopper.

Says a source close to the team, “The makers were looking for a voice from India who could do justice to the Asian character. Priyanka will soon dub for the character. She will be dubbing for the English version and later it will be decided whether she will be dubbing for the Hindi version as well.”

Disney’s Planes is an action-packed 3D animated comedy adventure about Dusty’s dream of competing as a high-flying air racer and his decidedly unfortunate fear of heights. The film will release in India on July 26 later this year.
