Plot: Sonam Kapoor plays Aisha, a twenty-five year old Delhi girl who spends her time shopping, with friends or trying to play match-maker with her friends. When Sonam sets her eyes on hooking up plain-jane Amrita Puri with rich boy Cyrus Sahukar, begins a medley of confusions and mismatches. Add Sonam’s childhood friend Abhay Deol, bad boy Arunoday Singh and Abhay’s sexy colleague Lisa Haydon and it’s the perfect concoction for a romantic-comedy.

Expectations: The promos of ‘Aisha’ have been appreciated but because it’s a woman-oriented subject, it might not take a good opening at the box-office. In India, women-oriented films generally don’t take a good start. However, things are changing because of the multiplex culture. ‘Aisha’ just might open well in the big cities, that too in select multiplexes.
