Pati Patni Aur Woh Director On Bhumi Pednekar’s Controversial Dialogue: “Why It’s A Problem When A Woman Says She Loves Sex?”

Pati Patni Aur Woh starring Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Panday is all set to release next week. The audience is quite excited for the film to release which is inspired from 1978 film of the same name.

In the trailer, Bhumi’s character tells Kartik’s character in their first meet that she loves sex.The dialogue received a mixed response from the audience. While many hailed the filmmaker Mudassar Aziz for making a woman share her likes openly, some termed the dialogue as ‘adult humour’.

At a group interview, Mudassar was asked about the dialogue being termed as ‘adult humour’ to which he strongly reacted. He said, “Why do you have a problem when a woman says she loves sex? What is your problem with that? Why is that adult humour? When a man says he loves sex, you are okay with it. But when a woman says she loves sex, everyone has a problem.”

He added, “Why can’t a woman not like sex? What does that (liking sex) make her? Does that make her a person of less character? No. Sex is as pleasurable as an act for man as it is for a woman.”

Well, that’s quite a good response from the director.

Meanwhile, Pati Patni Aur Woh also stars Aparshakti Khurana in a pivotal role. The film is slated to release on December 6, 2019.
