Hrithik Roshan is a well-established Bollywood actor famous among some Hollywood personalities. Over the years, he has done some fantastic films, and then there were a few movies that the Greek God of Bollywood rejected. Hrithik started his career in the film industry at a young age and then had his feature debut with Papa Rakesh Roshan’s film Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai… opposite Ameesha Patel. He is one of the industry’s highest-paid stars and has been acknowledged for his notable acting talent.
Besides being a great actor, Hrithik Roshan is also a fantastic dancer. He was last seen in Siddharth Anand’s Fighter, starring opposite Deepika Padukone. He started his career in 2000, and over the past several years, he has rejected multiple critically acclaimed movies, some of which were also box office gainers.
It is one of the most critically acclaimed films of Shah Rukh Khan, but director Ashutosh Gowarikar wanted Hrithik for the role before moving on to SRK. As per TOI, HR didn’t think he was equipped to perform the part; thus, he passed on the script, which eventually went to Shah Rukh, and he made it into an iconic character.

Another SRK-led film came to Hrithik, but he turned it down. He was offered the role played by Zayed Khan by Farah Khan, but he was not convinced by the character’s carefree persona and rejected it.
3. Brahmastra 2

According to TOI’s report, Hrithik Roshan turned down Brahmastra 2 because of Krrish 4 and Ramayana, as all these movies heavily depended on CGI. For the unversed, HR reportedly is also not a part of Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana because the project had no sign of progress. He was approached for Dev’s role, aka Ranbir Kapoor’s character Shiva’s father’s part.
4. Pink Panther 2

Not just Bollywood, Hollywood too wanted to cast Hrithik Roshan in their movies. As per reports, Harald Zwart offered him a role in the film, which also featured Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in a significant role.
5. Fast and Furious 7

Rob Cohen, the director of Fast and Furious, wanted to cast HR in the Fast and Furious 7, aka Furious 7. He rejected the role because of his packed schedule in Bollywood.
6. Baahubali

Hrithik Roshan was well-appreciated for his role as Akbar in Jodha Akbar, and it might have encouraged SS Rajamouli to offer him a role in his magnum opus Baahubali. But he was not interested in doing another period drama and rejected it.

Aamir Khan’s Oscar-nominated film Lagaan was also offered to Hrithik Roshan. It was also directed by Ashutosh Gowarikar. He passed on the role for some reason, and it went to Aamir Khan.
