Mouni Roy Opens Up About Her Transition From TV To Movies!

Mouni Roy is one of the few actors who has made a smooth and successful transition from television to Bollywood has said that she credits all her success to her much loved television show ‘Naagin’. While Mouni made her Bollywood debut last year alongside Akshay Kumar in Gold, she has her kitty full for quite some time now with films like Bramhastra and Made In China in the pipeline.

In her recent interview with TOI, Mouni says her transition to the big screen was not difficult. Roy said, “Not really. I bagged ‘Gold’ when I wanted to migrate from television to movies.” Though she credits Naagin for her current success and popularity, Mouni says her focus right now is only on films.

Mouni has been quoted saying, “I am what I am today because of Naagin. That show is popular and I hope that it continues for many years. But for now, I am only focusing on films.”
