All you Money Heist buffs, move over Ayushamnn Khurrana’s ‘Professor’ avatar. Fans now seem to have found a closer lookalike to Álvaro Morte’s character in Varun Dhawan. It all began when the actor recently shared a throwback image on his official Instagram handle. And interestingly his followers couldn’t help but notice the uncanny resemblance between him and Money Heist’s Professor.
For the unversed, several Bollywood stars including Ayushamnn Khurrana have expressed their desire to play the character of Professor from Money Heist! Ayushmann had earlier even shared a post on his social media handle where he could be seen playing the tune of Bella Ciao from the series. He captioned the video saying, “I want to be the Professor. I want to put this out in the universe. Hello reverent filmmakers! Please! I’m dying to do something like this.”
What’s more is that the Money Heist director, Alex Rodrigo was shown pictures of several B’town actors in a recent YouTube interview. He had to pick actors who could play different characters from the show and he too chose Ayushamnn to play the Professor. Well, thanks to their facial resemblances.
