After last year’s sleeper hit Mujhe Fraandship Karoge, Y-Films is back with another comedy in the pipeline, Mere Dad Ki Maruti.
Set against the backdrop of a loud Punjabi wedding in Chandigarh, MDKM is about a boy who sneaks his dad’s fancy new car out to impress the college hottie. But when he loses his dad’s car, all hell breaks loose!
Roped back from Mujhse Fraandship Karoge, Saqib Saleem stars in this Y-Film as well. It also marks the directorial debut of Ashima Chibber who has been an Assistant Director on Ab Tak Chappan, Chak De! India and Rockstar.
The story of the film gives us the feel that it might be eerily similar to Dude, Where’s My Car? and Hangover. We hope they’ve learnt their lesson from Luv Ka The End.
