Everyone is looking forward to Imtiaz Ali’s Love Aaj Kal starring Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan. The trailer of the film was out this month and received a mixed response. However, when the first song Shayad from the film was out, it received rave reactions and fans loved this soulful melody.

The music of Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan’s Love Aaj Kal is composed by Pritam and the lyrics are penned by Irshad Kamil. Shayad is crooned by Arijit Singh and people are in love with his husky and melodious voice. In a statement, Imtiaz Ali and Pritam expressed their happiness on the great response Shayad received. They also shared what thoughts went behind making Shayad such a mesmerising track.

As reported by PTI, the Jab Harry Met Sejal director said, “I believe there is something magical in the world. It’s not absolute, it can only be experienced, it’s Shayad’. I’m glad that people are connecting with the innocence and nostalgia of this song.”

On the other hand, music composer Pritam said, “Shayad’ is an ode to young love. With ‘Shayad’ we tried to create a soundtrack that imbibes its timelessness.”
