It has been an incredible journey and an experience, so I would not change a thing. But I have been really looking forward to crowning a successor, I have ben saying that since a long time. It is one thing in life that makes me proud to say I am India’s Miss Universe.”

“I allow my work to speak for itself. Plus I believe in living in the moment. Also a lot of people have been asking me is the lockdown hard for you, is it difficult. To be really honest it has not been difficult at all, because I am a home body. You won’t see me at a lot of Bollywood parties, I am not a social butterfly or anything like that. And I also feel that in many ways that helped me in keeping myself grounded,” said Lara.
