Dia Mirza is very vocal about her concerns for the environment and the constant damage that human activities are doing to it. The UN Environment’s Goodwill Ambassador for India recently took to her social media handle to share a picture of never seen before of the holy Ganga in Rishikesh.
Taking to her official Twitter handle, Dia has retweeted a post that is real proof of how mother Earth is healing itself while life has come to a standstill globally amid the pandemic Coronavirus.
Sharing the image, Dia captioned her post as: “A lockdown on human activity is restoring natural resources. Clean water is necessary for health and progress Droplet#CleanGanga”

While we certainly agree to the former beauty queen, do let us know your thoughts about the impact of the Coronavirus on nature. The clear waters of Ganga are a sight to behold owing to its rarity.
Meanwhile, several other people have been sharing pictures from various parts of the country showing how neat and clean has the environment become owing to a complete stop on all kind of human and industrial activities not just in India but also globally.
Recently Juhi Chawla too had taken to her social media handle to share a picture of Dolphins that were spotted on the shores of a certain beach in Mumbai. Pictures of flamingos in Navi Mumbai nesting amid clear waters too were doing rounds on the internet.
The air in Mumbai is so nice, light and fresh ..!!! I can't believe it 😃… and it seems dolphins were sighted just off the shore near Breach Candy club ..!!! This shutdown of cities is not so bad after all #CoronavirusPandemic pic.twitter.com/t94vhFyPRy

While humans may be struggling to hold the reins of normalcy, mother nature is certainly enjoying her rejuvenation process.
