Aamir Khan is known to dedicate a substantial amount of time for his project and is currently preparing for his role in upcoming Lal Singh Chaddha. Recently, it was reported that the movie is to feature various incidents like Babri Masjid Demolition and formation of Modi government, which changed the face of India.

Now according to a report in Pinkvilla, not Babri Masjid, but another important event from the History will be featured in the movie. “Not Babri Masjid demolition, but it is the 1984 anti-Sikh riots that will feature as an important part of the plot in the movie,” as revealed in the report.

The movie is an official adaptation of 1994 Hollywood cult Forrest Gump and was announced on Aamir Khan’s birthday (14 March), this year. It will be helmed by Secret Superstar fame Advait Chandan.

Produced by Aamir Khan Productions and Viacom18 Motion Pictures, the film is expected to go on the floors in October and written by Atul Kulkarni.
