The much-awaited trailer of Ki And Ka starring Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor is here. As told to us earlier, the film deals with gender role reversal and hence our lead hero Kabir (Arjun) is a house husband where as Kia (Kareena) is a successful marketing professional. While many may find that a story like this would be full of cliches, the trailer surely makes for a fun watch.
So while Kia is shown to have chalked out her corporate career to become the CEO, Kabir wants to become like his mother – a house wife. He is uninterested in making a career and being a part of the rat race and would prefer to cook and look after a household instead.

The fresh pairing of Kareena and Arjun looks promising enough and a easy-going chemistry can be observed between the two. To poke fun at the general stereotypes in our society, Balki puts scenes where the husband asks for money needed for household expenses, he passes the restaurant bill to her, he takes off her sandals while she is tired and dead asleep after a tiring day and also tries to play a ‘not in the mood for sex’ card but eventually gives in since he is a man.

Of course, no wedding comes without problems and hence towards the end of the trailer there are scenes where we see some emotional turmoil.
Overall, Ki And Ka looks like a good attempt at presenting a quirky story with commercial elements to keep it Bollywoodish.
