Bollywood actors Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra have come under the scanner of the Income Tax department. Both the actresses homes and offices in Mumbai have been raided by Income Tax officials on 24th January, 2011.
The Income Tax department is said to have raided the premises of Priyanka and Katrina on suspected tax evasion and to ensure that the actors had paid taxes proportionate to their income. The raids are said to have begun between 7.30-8 am this morning and are expected to continue through the day.
