Since the success of Queen (2014), Kangana Ranaut has become one of the most sought-after actors in Bollywood. Apart from acting, there seems to be a new avenue that the actor is now busy exploring: fashion design. Kangana is set to launch her own designer range of clothes, in association with an international brand. The event will comprise a fashion show, followed by an after-party that is being hosted in her honour.
An insider reveals, “The show will present Kangana’s maiden collection, which is a reflection of her own style. Moreover, it will be opened by supermodel Ujjwala Raut, who is also a popular face in the west. She usually walks the ramp for international brands and designers, but she will make a rare appearance for this show.” Kangana’s collection is likely to be styled by Anaita Shroff Adajania.
The list of attendees consists of prominent figures from the fashion industry — noted designers, many of who are Kangana’s friends — as well as celebrated models. The invites may also be extended to members of the film industry. The insider adds, “The show will be held at Mehboob Studios, Bandra (W). The after-party will also take place there.”
However, the extravaganza does not end here. The insider says that right after the party, Kangana will leave for Paris, France. While the actor had recently visited the city for the French premiere of Queen, this time, she is headed there to attend the Paris Fashion Week, which begins today.
The insider adds, “Kangana has been making a mark with her sense of style, and that stands true even internationally. For the fashion week in Paris, she has been invited by a leading fashion brand to be a front-row attendee.”
