The trailer of Hrithik Roshan starrer Kaabil was released yesterday and the film has been garnered with a great response. Also starring Yami Gautam in lead, the film will see both Hrithik and her playing visually impaired characters.
Directed by Sanjay Gupta, the film is a revenge drama. Taking off with the love angle, the trailer showcases a light chemistry between Hrithik and Yami. They meet, talk and even dance Tango style. Much to our anticipation, there is a twist coming up very soon in their fairy tale.
In flashes we see a tortured Yami and I assume this to be a molestation case. Hrithik emotes powerfully in this scene as a helpless person. Rohit Roy and Ronit Roy are seen as the negative character and their intense stares are enough to shake you up. It is only in the second half of the trailer that we are subjected to some edge of the seat entertainment.
Overall, the film has a signature Sanjay Gupta feel to it. His last directorial Jazbaa failed to make a big impact but looks like with Hrithik’s powerful act, Kaabil will get many takers.
Kaabil is slated to release on 26th January next year.
