The actress who soared to fame as a result of her sex appeal in her debut film Nishabd opposite Amitabh Bachchan, suddenly saw herself fazing out from public memory. The police confirmed that Jiah Khan’s suicide is a result of heartbreak and a diminishing career.
Popular films did not cast her readily and despite auditioning for many roles, she could not bag herself anything substantial. Reportedly, the actress in her personal life was nursing a bruised heart as well. Her relationship with Suraj Pancholi, son of Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab, had ended. In fact, news reports also suggest that Suraj was the last person she spoke to before hanging herself to death.

Despite being aware that Jiah’s family is extremely traumatized at the young actress’ death, actor Aditya Pancholi created a scene with the media at Jiah’s funeral. Aditya’s car banged into a camera tripod following which he had a massive verbal argument with media people at the funeral. Zarina Wahab, on the other hand was extremely sympathetic of Jiah’s family and extended her condolence to Jiah’s mother Rabiya.

A leading daily also reported that Aditya Pancholi and his son Suraj Pancholi was questioned by the Police in relationship to Jiah’s suicide. Jiah who was in tumultuous relationship with Suraj had been depressed about their relationship for a while. Apparently Suraj was avoiding Jiah on advise of his father Aditya, reported the daily.
However, the exact information on the issue is sketchy but Aditya and Suraj both went to Santa Cruz cemetery where Jiah’s last rites were finally concluded.
