Sidharth Malhotra and Sonakshi Sinha starrer Ittefaq remake is scheduled to go on floors by 2017.
In a media interaction, during the promotion of Baar Baar Dekho, Sidharth revealed that he will begin with the shooting for Ittefaq remake by next year. The movie will be more of a modern day adaptation than a remake.
Ittefaq remake will be a thriller and produced by Abhay Chopra, Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar.
Sidharth is currently gearing up with the release of Baar Baar Dekho along with Katrina Kaif, while Sonakshi’s Akira is slated to release this week.
BBD is slated to release on 9th September 2016.
