After the dull initial of Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu last week, is it right to conclude that the pairing of Kareena Kapoor and Imran Khan has not worked?
Komal Nahta: It is wrong to conclude that because collections picked up phenomenally on days 2 and 3. If the pair hadn’t worked, collections would not have shown the big jump they did.

How is it that Ekk Deewana Tha has not clicked even though it is a remake of a Tamil hit?
Komal Nahta: Every remake of a hit does not necessarily have to be a hit.

You constantly say that English titles don’t work. Then how is it that 3 Idiots proved to be a runaway hit despite the English title?
Komal Nahta: Exceptions only prove the rule, don’t they? In an Aamir Khan film, the title matters less than in films of lesser stars.
