Income Tax Department Raid At Balaji Telefilms Properties

Balaji Telefilms, one of the well-known production houses, is owned by Ekta Kapoor who is facing the probe, besides her actor brother Tusshar Kapoor, and their father, yesteryear’s star Jeetendra.

Balaji Telefilms which was the leading production brand of Indian Television recently ventured into films.

The raids were carried out simultaneously at the Balaji Telefilms offices in Andheri, studios, residences of top officials in Juhu and their offices on Linking Road, Andheri.

The raid was executed with 100 officers teaming up accordingly for their job. Though no one divulged out the real reason for it, sources inform that the search operations pertain to alleged concealment and reported mis-declaration of income and profits.
