Hrithik Roshan’s Grandfather & Renowned Filmmaker J Om Prakash Passes Away

Just yesterday, we lost a gem of a person, Former external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj. Today, we lost another renowned personality, Hrithik Roshan’s maternal grandfather J Om Prakash.

The news of his death was announced by one of the relatives of Roshan family. Deepak Parashar shared it on his Twitter account and wrote, “My dearest uncle “Mr J Om Prakash”passed away about an hour ago ? So saddened as he joins his friend, my Mamaji “Mr Mohan Kumar “in heaven ! Their contributions to Indian cinema is a gift they left behind for us ! Took this pic few months ago when went to see him ! Om Shanti !”

Even trade analyst Akshaye Rathi took to his Twitter account and confirmed same. He wrote, “Veteran filmmaker #JOmPrakash ji has passed away this morning. May God bless his soul & give his family the strength to cope with the loss. Condolences to @RakeshRoshan_Nji @iHrithik & everyone the family.”
