While films are all fun and entertaining, the job behind is never-ending and pressurizing. In the recent turn of events, Nimish Pilankar, a sound technician who has worked on many hit films in Bollywood, passed away due to blood pressure shot up leading to brain hemorrhage. The news came to light when famous Journalist Khalid Mohamed took a stand and expressed how the artist behind the scenes deserve our attention too. In recent times, Nimish had worked in the sound department for the films like Housefull 4, Marjaavaan and Bypass Road.
According to the reports, Nimish had been working all day and night for a web series which led to a lot of stress that resulted in shooting up his blood pressure.
Popular journalist-writer Khalid in a tweet wrote, “Sound technician NIMISH PILANKAR, aged 29, passed away. Blood pressure shot up ldng to brain haemorrhage. Technicians r backbone of Bollywood cinema. But does anyone care? It’s hi time the various associations, producers n stars who have more swag than sense did. Right now”
