Hardik Pandya On His Surprise Engagement With Natasa Stankovic: “My Parents Also Didn’t Know That I Was Getting Engaged”

Hardik Pandya and Natasa Stankovic brought in 2020 by announcing their engagement. Last weekend both gave their fans one more surprise, as they revealed they will be welcoming their baby soon. Now, the cricketer has opened up on his engagement with Natasa and how it all happened.
Hardik Pandya in the latest interview spoke about the day he met Natasa Stankovic, and how he fell for her. The cricketer opened up on what happened that made him take the plunge and get on his knees in front of his lady love.
According to Crickettime.com, talking to commentator Harsha Bhogle, Hardik Pandya said, “I got her by talking. She saw someone in a hat at a place where I met her, wearing a hat, a chain, a watch, at 1 am. So she thought he is ‘alag prakaar ka aadmi aaya’ (different kind of person came).”
Hardik Pandya added, “That is when I started talking to her, started knowing each other. Then, we started dating. Then got engaged on December 31.” Further, when he was asked if she was a fan of him, he said, “She had no idea who I was.”
Harsha Bhogle further asked Hardik Pandya about his decision to announce his engagement. He opened up how his family supported him and that was all he needed, he said, “My parents also didn’t know that I was getting engaged. Two days before (the engagement), I told Krunal. I told him, ‘I have had enough. I have found someone in my life who I love, and I am becoming better’. They (family) backed me and told ‘do whatever you want’.”
Meanwhile, last Sunday, Natasa and Hardik Pandya broke the news that they are about to welcome their first child soon. They announced this with an adorable picture of the two, with Natasa looking cute with her baby bump.
