First Look: Mohenjo Daro’s Female Lead Pooja Hegde As Chaani

After creating enough buzz with Hrithik Roshan’s first look as Sarman, the makers have now introduced Pooja Hegde as Chaani – ‘The Chosen One’ from the upcoming adventure-romance Mohenjo Daro. The film marks the debut of Pooja Hegde as the lead actress.

Pooja looks like a royal princess in the still as she is dressed in a vintage outfit that takes you 5000 years back. The actress will be playing Hrithik Roshan’s the love interest, who is a farmer.

The film is set in the ancient city of Mohenjo-daro in the era of the Indus Valley civilisation that dates back to 2600 BC. Directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, the movie is slated to release on August 12, 2016.
