It was just two weeks before the official trailer promo for Salman Khan’s much awaited Dabangg sequel was released on the Bigg Boss 6 platform that the trailer garnered over 3 million views in a matter of half a month. The number though is alarmingly spectacular and is one of the highest for any Bollywood film.
Seeing the trend being set already, our Being Human Superstar has decided to even unveil the first video of the hugely anticipated item song Fevicol Se on Bigg Boss 6 where Kareena Kapoor Khan would be seen gyrating to the rustic voice of Mamta Sharma, giving a stiff competition to all the Munnis, Sheilas and the Chikni Chamelis.
Salman who was overwhelmed and delighted with the earth shattering response to the Dabangg 2 trailer is expecting fire crackers with such a definite move. Salman and Company who were planning to release this much hyped song anyway this week has given preference to the Bigg Boss stage to be able to release their album’s masterpiece. After all if the earthy Munni made everyone go ‘badnaam’, ‘Fevicol Se’ will take everyone on a sultry seduction ride. And as for Bigg Boss, given the amount of euphoria and the heavy TRPs enveloping the show, this show has become the most sought after way to a film’s effective promotion.
Not just Dabangg 2 which stands as Salman’s own film, but stars with the likes of Sanjay Dutt, Preity Zinta, Ajay Devgn and Sonakshi Sinha were seen heavily promoting their film on the show. Bollywood’s Khiladi Akshay Kumar who returns back with the Khiladi franchise had also planned to visit the show for a bout of promotional air but eventually couldn’t make it much due to his health issues.
Now with Katrina Kaif starting the year with a bang, setting the stage with her sensuously delicious Chikni Chameli, it would be exciting to see how Kareena manages to end the year with a bang and provide our Chikni Chameli a stiff competition with the strings of Fevicol Se.
