Having successfully ventured into key profiles of Direction and production, Farah Khan who started out as a choreographer has carved a niche for herself. She started out as choreographer in Bollywood with Pehla Nasha starring Aamir Khan in Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar and later directed massive hits such as Om Shanti Om starring Shah Rukh Khan.
Thus, the film maker was awarded the first ever Zee Cine ‘Stree Sanman Award’ 2014 for her contribution
Receiving this prestigious award from, veteran director, Subhash Ghai, Farah said, ” they say behind every successful man, there is a woman. But let me tell you, behind this successful woman, there are a hundred men.”
With previous hits such as Om Shanti Om and Main Hoon Na, the director is now working on multi–starrer Happy New Year.
